The Final Countdown...What's Your Letter?

Have you entered my Giveaway? If you haven't, please comment ASAP, for Saturday is the last day. I will pick a winner on Mother's Day.

If you need a reminder on how to enter, here is the lowdown;

1. Tell me whether you have the blessing of being a Mother or Grandmother.

2. How many children/grandchildren do you have? (Please include step kids, foster kids, etc...)

3.What is your favorite color?

4. What are your hobbies?

5. Tell me what being a mom/grandma means to you.

Pretty simple, huh?

I've been debating on what to give away. ( Yes, I know it truly is a "SURPRISE" giveaway. Fun, huh?!) I went back and forth between a couple of things and then I got this little surprise for Teacher's Appreciation week...

Isn't it too cute?! So, I have decided to give away this little monogrammed baby to the two winners...with their own initial, of course. I will say this, since I am waiting to buy until after I draw a winner (because of the initial) it may vary in color, design or size. And if for any reason they do not have in stock the letter I need, the winner will be given something very similar and just as cute.

The best part? I plan on filling the bag up with goodies.

So, I guess I will see you here Sunday! Hope you have a beautiful weekend!

That could be a LONG answer. I have 5 children (2 of them are adopted). They range in age from 17-27. Wil (17), Chase (21), Seth (23), Lauren (23), Robin (will be 27 in July). Both girls are adopted. I have one daughter in law, Jen and one son in law, Joe. I have a beautiful granddaugher, Savannah. She will be 3 in June. I also have a grandson, Elijah who will make his appearance into the world in late July. I love our children with all of my heart, but my grandbabies make my heart skip a beat. They are GODS reward for living through the teenage years with our children. It is an unexplainable love. I never thought I could love a child more than my own kids...boy did GOD show me!
I can't even remember what your other ?s were...but this was the most important one.
Thanks for all your sweet comments on arise 2 write. You are a special lady.
Hugs,
andrea

I am a mother of 2 children - Wesley and Mikayla age 10. I love the colors of purple and green. Photography is a hobby that consumes me at times. I also enjoy scrapbooking (when have time!) and reading.

Being a mother has been a journey for me so far. The journey has been ups and downs, the "did I do that right?", the moments of intense pride that only comes from knowing "that is my child!", the joy of the small things like cuddling on the couch or just doing something together. Just when I think I have figured out something with the kids the Lord shows me I have much to learn. He has shown me that even being a mother requires me to go to Him to solve the problems. I have learned to see my children through different eyes as they have gotten older. What I once thought would be a way to handle the problems and issues that arise has turned into leaning more on the Father to sort things out. My desire is to teach Wesley and Mikayla the godly way to go and when they are "old" they will not depart from it.
