"Girl Drama."

"Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. For whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
1 Peter 3:8-12
Happy Monday, friends!
Have a beautiful week.
Blessings and prayers...
(Sorry, can't chat long. Still conquering the laundry and cleaning my mess after a little redecorating. However, we a have a girl's Bible study that is meeting on Sunday afternoons. I am one of the small group leaders. Yesterday's theme was "girl drama." The verse above was the passage studied. Sadly, I still need that verse. Us big girls are certainly not immune to a little drama of our own from time to time. So, I thought I would pass the verse along, as a reminder for those days when the temptation is great to gossip, hold grudges, be impatient, pass the blame, or simply think we are a little better than someone else. Honestly friends, you know we all do it. Let us hold each other accountable to try our hardest to be righteous each and every day, not just on Sunday. Are you with me? I hope so, I for one would love to "inherit a blessing.")

Mich,

We learned all about this subject in church yesterday about raising teens in a tough world. It involved Daniel 1, in which showed how when Daniel didn't compromise his values, God blessed him.

Here is hoping that you will accomplish much today.

I think our insecurities are definitely exposed when we do any type of "girl drama." It's an ugly thing for sure.

Thank you for reminding us of God's word on this subject! I, for one, can't be reminded and encouraged enough!

Mich,

Please help me spread the word of a sister in Christ who so desperately needs help with a limited amount of time left.
