Delight...

Delight thyself in the Lord; and He shall give you the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:4
To "delight"means to:
to please, give pleasure to or be pleasing to
a feeling of extreme pleasure or satisfaction
joy: something or someone that provides a source of happiness
I pray that I will "delight" in the Lord. I know that when I am resting in His tender loving care, that His desires become my own. Leading to pure joy and rest.

Sis,
Thanks for the thoughts from your thoughts. Keep on keeping on as you reflect His thoughts and His keeping.

I want to do that today. I'm discouraged. I woke up ready to sing for the Lord ( a solo at church) and my throat feels terrible. For the last year, everytime I am scheduled to sing, I have to cancel because of a sick child. I'm questioning if I should just stop being on the schedule during this season of life. I don't want to be a flake, and I hate inconviencing people.

You know... he is such a delight when we take the time to be with him. Makes me wonder why I go anywhere else to find pleasure.

Delighting in Him this week, friend.
