Grandma and Papa's House

Our 4th of July festivities were at Grandma and Papa's house Saturday night. We ate, watched movies, exchanged gifts (birthday and anniversary gifts that were late) and watched a few fireworks in the sky put off by a neighborhood family. Overall it was some good family time. Jordan stole my camera half the night and went around taking pictures of everybody and everything...I might have to look into getting that boy a camera. Anyway, here are just a few of the pictures taken last night...
Family Hugs:
Kevin with his mom, dad and brother.
Kevin's sister-in-law and our niece.
Kevin and his mom.
Kayla and her cousin.
Jordan with his Grandma.
This section is dedicated to my sister who likes to know what you had for dinner and wants pictures when you go out or you're celebrating...(We had steak, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, broccoli with cheese sauce, salad and bread. Yummy!)
Pretty salad. Cute boy! :)

We made Jordan work for his dinner. He and Kayla LOVE corn on the cob.

I love me some steak!!!

Papa showing off the watermelon.

Kevin eating the watermelon.

Jealous, Amb?! This is only just a very few of the garden tomatoes...

I was in several pictures this year, 'cause like I said, Jordan had my camera half the night. Only problem is that very few of them are worth keeping. I found this one of Kayla and I so I could prove I was there.

Hope y'all had a great 4th! I feel so blessed! Great family, great in-laws and we live in a great country! Everything is looking pretty GREAT!

Well, you should give him the camera more often! When my kids have mine, there are lots of 'throw-away' pictures, but then there are a few that I would've totally MISSED! So I'm always glad when they grab the camera. =0)

Glad y'all had a Happy Fourth Celebration!

Sis,
I have a REAL BIG PROBLEM WITH THE PICTURES! MOM AND i WEREN'T WITH YOU ALL IN THEM! TELL KEV'S FOLKS NEXT TIME AROUND!

Our 4th was great, in spite of the game's loss. Had a great time with Kirk's folks, Amb, Kirk and the rascals, at the game - for a PIZZA HUT 4th LUNCH, then MOM AND ME FOR A FIVE HOUR DRIVE HOME. Then fireworks in NEW YORK via the tube!

Love you,
Jim-Dad

Glad you had a great time...all our friends left town for the 4th. Some of them thought that playing baseball was more important than us. :)

When my son was about 14 he took most of the family pictures, lol! I am taking more pictures now that I have a blog!

I love watermelon. I mean, what's not to love about it? Glad you had fun with family.

Also glad I'm not alone in this whole house thing. You're right, sometimes we do need to rest too.

I stopped by from scottsville. Great family 4th you had. I love that huge watermelon.

Now the steak looks super scrumtious. We're over due for some steak here.

Sounds like you had a nice time. We did too. Lot's of fireworks to see around here without leaving our yard. Surrounded by cities with displays...it was nice.

Have a nice week,

Dear Mich,

It looks like you all had a wonderful holiday. The food looks delicious! We had steaks on the grill and corn on the cob, too…with garden cucumbers and tomatoes.

I never lived close enough to my grandparents and only saw them a few times in my entire life. I always missed the going to Grandmother’s thing.
