In My "I Don't Get It File!"

OK, first of all, I would like to state for the record, that I totally adore my hubby. I admire him, love him and I'm just so thankful he puts up with me. That being said, I just have to ask a simple "What is he thinking?"
I know there are mountains of laundry sitting by the washer. I know there are some dirty dishes soaking in the kitchen sink. I know my bed wasn't made today and even my room needs a maid service these days, but....

Everything on top of this refrigerator, with the exception of the basket, he put there. For some reason, if he can't find a place to put something, he throws it on top of the fridge. Last night I found an empty orange juice container, and threw it away. This morning I found this (see picture above). He said something about saving the containers for something... OK. But is this a new form of "art" for everyone to see first thing when they come through my kitchen door? Totally in my "I don't get it" file. Gotta love him!

LOL....My husband does the same thing. It's not the top of the fridge, but he's got his place to "store" things. I'm guessing he just does not know what to do with them?? Or, he's used to me finding a place for "things". Just not sure ;) Love that you shared that photo!

Sis,
Here's the thang! On the refrig, it high up away from "littler hands" and in obvious plain sight as a reminder to do somethang else with it. It's just that when you get a series of thangs to be reminded of, they tend to become less decorative, dontcha know? Well, that's my take on it. I know, I've got some o' them thar piles of reminders my own self, here and thar, as your mom will testify.

Love us anyway!

How funny. I'll take a pic of our garage shelves.....you'll appreciate them....or rather your hubby will! :)

At least he didn't leave the things on the floor.....right? :)

My hubby doesn't usually leave things of his out for fear that I'll put it somewhere and he'll never see it again. :0)

However, that said, that does not apply to papers nor our bedroom, lol.

I put any papers (not newspapers, mail type papers) he leaves out in a basket on top of the fridge. Let me tell you, those baskets are piled high with papers.

If he doesn't know where something goes he will usually bring it into the kitchen or leave it out in the last place he used it!

Perhaps its time to get a container for him to place recyclable containers in to perhaps take to a facility to get cash?

We have ours in the garage but it doesn't mean that people use it. They are still sticking cans next to the sink for me to move out to the garage.

Dollar Tree makes some wonderful bins for collecting along these lines. I know, very confusing. My husband is a collector and gatherer of a great many things...especially little pieces of paper with scrawling notes, therein. Oh, and handkerchiefs...used and otherwise.

Have mercy.

My husband doesn't believe in making the bed because he's just going to get back in it at night.

I'm a make-up-the-bed-as-soon-as-I-get-out-of-it kind of girl.

Love this post!
