Just a "HAIR" different.

Saturday was haircut day. My two kids and I went down to the salon and let our beautician of choice chop away at our hair. For your viewing pleasure we took pictures...
Jordan usually sports what I call the "Zach & Cody" look, in other words it is long and shaggy. However, the summer heat has been getting to him, so he opted to chop a few layers away. (I thought the second picture was really cute, but my lens kept fogging up from going back and forth between the air conditioning and the heat. :( )

Anybody notice anything different about Kayla? She got bangs! I thinks she likes them. We are still getting use to the new look. I put the second picture on of her because we went to a sale at Stage Friday night. Spent a little bit of money, but got several bargains in the process. Her skirt...40.00. I got it for 14.00. I thought it was too cute. I love a good bargain!

I got my hair cut too. Not much of a change, but I thought I would be a good sport for the sake of the blog. So here you are... (Forgive my paleness. This Mom just can't tan, much to her chagrin.)

I am going to end this post on a celebration note. Our worship service this morning was GREAT! Because we are having VBS at our church this week, our music minister sang a bunch of oldie but goody favorites. The ones I use to sing at VBS and camp. It was a lot of fun.

Then my hubby had the honor of baptizing 6 people this morning. Doing a victory dance right now! They were all teenagers and kids, except for one mom, who was baptized along side her young son. God is good!

Hope you all have had your own special Sunday service moments today. I would love to hear about them.

Happy Lord's Day everyone!

"I was glad, when they said, let us go to church!"

Ah the hair cuts look amazing on all of you! Summer needs that I think, going shorter makes it easier to get ready in the morning and keeps you cooler throughout the day.

Congratulations on all the baptisms today!

It's so cute how your son is posing..I love that. Everyones hair looks great. There is nothing like a good, fresh haircut!! I would love your hair style and texture. Mine is so thin so it needs layers....they can be a pain!

Woo hoo to the baptisms. What a special day.

I like all the haircuts! Y'all look so cute! Yes, my boys usually prefer to go a little shorter in the summer too.

Praise God for the baptisms and what He's doing in their lives! That's why baptisms are always so cool. Just to hear people talk about what God is doing.

We actually had a VERY moving service yesterday morning. One of our youth rededicated her life, lots of people went forward just to pray together and it just seemed more unified. The Holy Spirit was definitely moving and it felt so good! =0)

Love the haircuts! I even love her bangs on her. =0)

Yes, Boys. Gotta love 'em. I have THREE and sometimes I think that's a little too much for any one mom to handle! ha ha ha

Praise God I got a girl, too though. Last but not least!

I've had the same "do" for years; I always think I'm getting something different, but it comes back looking the same. I try to grow it out, but can't stand it and chop it back to normal.

We had a wonderful Sunday service. Today's been full to the max; hoping to slow down a bit tomorrow.

Blessings to you in your week.
