Raining Random Thoughts...

Nothing much to say...

It is raining cats and dogs here. My son is about to go stir crazy. No basketball, no bike, NO RECESS!!! Yep! you heard it here first... my son says he is going to die if they don't have recess soon!

Someone swiped my umbrella at work. It was conveniently put back after I returned from lunch and errands and I was just a little on the soggy side.

In response to Kayla's countdown list from yesterday's post...there are a few songs on there that I don't recommend for "old" ears like mine. I listened to one the other day and the only positive thing I could say was, it was sung by a Christian group and there were no bad words. I guess if she needs to have a little edge to her music every once in a while, that is the way to go. I guess.

Had to pay bills today. Did I tell you it is raining outside?! Even the sky is depressed for me.

I bought groceries tonight. My cart was full, my wallet is dented, it looks like I could feed an army...watch us be out of milk tomorrow.

I watched the season premiere of "The Biggest Loser." I love that show, although I would like to take a bar of soap to Jillian's mouth!!! Nothing like watching people work out while eating a McDonald's chicken nuggets!

Well, that is all I got on this wet evening. Hoping for a little sun, before we all float away...

and before I have to plan a funeral for my youngest.

Sis,
Up here on "ARARAT" the water's a risin', too! We may have to get over to Kirk-Noah's "ark" and sit a spell - hope not 40 days!

Couldn't reist the analogy. I just covered the flood last night in my OT class at the college. Oh, my, did I bring this on!

Hey, Jor, without the rain, they'd be no grass on the soccer field, no tree for you to climb, yada, yada, yada! Buck up, young man, you'll see God's rainbow in the sky before long, and it will be like a whole new world!

I just can't stop it!

Well, Sis, I prayer for you "showers of blessings" today!

Just think, you kept some or'nery person dry!

We were all rained out LAST week. Course after our drought, we NEEDED IT and were counting it a blessing! =0)

I missed the Biggest Loser last night cuz I had to watch the season finale of Big Brother. I'll be into Biggest Loser from here on out though. I heard I missed a great one! (they were telling about it on the radio this morning)

Now, for a question. Do you pronounce "Mich" as:

A. Mick
B. Mish
C. Mitch

I hate rain. I know we need it. But it just is so depressing, like you said.It has not been raining here. It has been beautiful for the past couple of weeks. 70-80 degrees and sunny and cool at night. Beautiful fall days but no changing of the tree leaves colors yet. I can't wait for that.

You still didn't tell me how you pronounce "Mich". =0)

Mich,

Please send the rain over to the south west in Southern California as we brace for yet another heat wave here. Keep wondering when it will all end. I never remember summers in California being so darn hot. Not only that it inspires all the wanna be arsonists to start fires all over the place.

I will bottle you up some warm California sunshine and send me some buckets of rain.

Love and Hugs ~ Kat

I hope it stops raining...too much of anything is no fun. My kids live for recess.
I went shopping today and made a dent in my wallet as well. Luckily milk was on sale:)
