Counting Down the Days...Picture #10.

Tonight was the school Band Christmas concert. Kayla plays the flute. She is second chair, out of nine 7Th grade flute players. We are very proud of how she is doing. The kids all did great! We sat and listened to the different instruments dance their way through favorite Christmas carols.

I know what you are thinking... picture #10 is going to be Christmas music. Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm saving that beautiful picture for another day. No, tonight's picture is pure fun. It is whimsical. It also makes a cute picture, which in turn leads to some great memories...

How do you like Kayla's Santa hat? She has had it since she was so very little. Back in her "cheetah is my favorite animal" stage. As I sat behind her tonight, watching her giggle with a friend, I just had to smile... oh those precious memories. Those beautiful memories of a precious young girl who has become my pride and joy. Watching her beautiful smile, her eyes dance in laughter...Memories all brought on by a Santa hat.

The 7Th grade band was suppose to wear a Santa hat or reindeer antlers tonight. It was a fun sight. The picture above is Kayla with one of her friends.
