Is anyone tired yet?
I LOVE the Christmas season...lights, trees, gifts for those I love, the Savior's birthday.
However, it seems that in the midst of "celebrating" the season, party after party, school programs and church programs, we are all just plumb wore out!!!
But I don't think I would change it. I mean, I want to hang out and laugh with my Sunday School class (the class I am in when I don't teach), after all, adult conversation is needed at times. I want to hang out with my scrap booking pals, because it makes me smile, being creative and all. I want to take my daughter to her Christmas tea and see her giggle with friends. I want to hear my husband sing and my daughter play the flute. I want to be with my family. I want...
So, I guess although I am so very busy, and very tired these days, it is the good kind of tired. The kind that comes from staying up late wrapping gifts for the kiddos or hanging out with friends.
I didn't have time to take a picture today. Too much going on. But I did find this little beauty.
It reminds me of some precious childhood memories. It reminds me of a time when kids weren't so spoilt. It reminds me of a time when something as simple as a cartoon, was not taken for granted. Yep, those were the days...
So picture #14 on my counting down the days countdown is....
Hope it brings a smile to your face. We are at the halfway mark, friends!
Happy December 14Th! Enjoy the busyness of the holiday, never forgetting what we are celebrating...

I'm all behind on the bloggity goodness, but I went back and read through all your posts.
Love all the pictures, and those cutey little cookies are PRECIOUS.
Looking forward to just hangin' for a few days. No one can ever accuse our family of not doing relaxing well.
It is so true that this time of year is busy. But I like that you stated here that it is not something that you would want to change because it is all part of enjoying the lives of the people that we love so much. Remembering that seems to make it the fun time that these activities should be instead of just busyness. I liked #14. :)
Our kids love to watch the old Christmas specials that we grew up on. Yes, there must be time to slow down and watch some oldie but goodies.
Mich,
Still reminds me of a family classic before the days of DVD or Video players when you had to wait for these to come on TV to watch them. We would all gather around the TV for a half hour of Christmas magic.
The best part, just being together with family in front of the fireplace enjoying one another.

My Sunday School Teacher was talking about A Charlie Brown Christmas and was quoting lines from it. Sadly, I don't remember it even though I know I watched it as a kid. I just was never a huge Charlie Brown fan. I know... what's wrong with me?!
Yea, I'm TIRED. I'm runnin', runnin', running all the time lately!
Love this time of the year and yes I'm tired. Blessing
