A style of her own...

I think the shoes say it all...

I'm torn between thinking they are really cute or totally quirky...

Truth is on our shopping spree last weekend, I learned quite a bit about my little baby doll.

She is growing up!

And she has a style all of her own!!!

Part tomboy. Part girly girl.

Part bling. Part plaid. All BRIGHT!!!

But you know what?

I realized amidst all her "quirkiness," I really like her a whole lot too!!!

As her mom, of course I love her...

No, I realized I LIKED her.

I like her energy, her random chattering, her smile and her bold style.

There is a part of me that even wishes I could pull off the paperclip shoes...

God, thank you. For I love my baby girl... quirkiness and all!!!

Do you know how blessed she is to have a momma who writes all this stuff down? Especially in the wonder years, which aren't always so wonderful? Good stuff, friend.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww, what a great post! I (Miss Quirky) happened to LOVE her unique-ness. I know that's not a word, but oh well.

And we moms all LOVE our kids but we can't always say we LIKE WHO THEY ARE! Praise God for the times when we can. =0)

Mich,

Where we cute shoes like this for us growing up? I love what teens have available to them today, their own stores, and attire geared just for them.

I like the shoes and I like all those other colorful duds she tried on for us after the shopping trip.
Most of all, I like (and love) HER! She is so adorably sweet, just like her mama.

Sis,
I love and like her a lot, too! After all, she's the one that named me "POOHPA", which has stuck through the other four rascals, too!

The only thing is, she's growing up too fast, don'tcha know?

Love you,
Jim-Dad

It's neat to learn we really like the people our kids are becoming.

I love your daughter's style!! My daughter is flashy and quirky.

I get a funny feeling when she picks out something flashy or unusual to me, but it's her style.

I have an award for you Mich so come on aver and see what it is.
