Who is the man in my husband's chair?!!!

I love my husband. We have been together since our first year of college in 1989. He was a transfer student and I was a freshman at one of the best colleges ever. His dad tells a story about how they were visiting during parent weekend and Kevin pointed me out and told his dad that he was going to date me one day. Sweet, huh?

It wasn't love at first sight for me, but because we started out as good friends, there was a foundation there that has helped us in our married journey together, after the newlywed bliss wore off and the children came along. I can honestly say he is my best friend.

We have been together through the ups and the downs. We have taken care of each other through the sickness (well he tries...) and health. We've backed each other in the war of parenthood. And we have enjoyed the blessings of a great ministry serving the Lord together.

Funny thing is, after almost twenty years of being together there are very few secrets or surprises...until today. When I came home there was a stranger in my house.

This is who I saw...

Could someone please tell me who that man is sitting in my husband's chair?!!! :)

I faintly recognize the face from, let's say, ten or twelve years ago...

Look at Kevin's baby face!!

How cute are you two? When I was at OBU I used to pray God would let me marry someone who had gone there so he would love it as much as I do. God had another plan, but it didn't change the love I have for that place one little bit. What great memories and how neat that so many of yours and Kevin's intersect and overlap!

You will feel like you are married to a new guy, huh?!

Funny seeing you two in font of Flippin Perrin. I sooo loved my time at OBU, and love anything that brings back those memories.

I don't know if my kids will choose to go there or not, but if it were up to me.... :)
