Because Two People Fell In Love...

Yesterday I wrote about my anniversary being today. What I didn't tell you was that I was married on my parent's anniversary. I have been blessed with two wonderful Christian parents. They have had their share of ups and downs, struggles and joy, but their dedication to God and each other has always been my rock. I love them dearly and I am celebrating their love today, for I am who I am because of them and the love they have for each other.

I love you Mom and Dad! Happy 44Th Anniversary!

Aren't they cute?!

Sis,
You pre-empted me on the pictures. Just a few moments ago mom and I were discussing which picture "I could use" on the blog. I would have surprised her, but I needed her help finding where we put the wedding pictures. Anyway, I had settled on a different one than the two you used. I should have my blog up in another 30 minutes or so. Anyway, thanks for your thoughts and God bless you and Kev on this OUR ANNIVERSARY!

Love,
Jim-Dad

P.S.:
Sis, I betcha can't outdo what we did on our part of the 26th event!
We went ta town, where first mom got her hair cut, then we went to the "eye doctor" to have some minor surgery on my eye lid - "OUCH" - can you imagine having a needle stuck into your eyelid? That was to deaden the thang so he could take a little razor blade to it - turns out I had a viral growth right on the lid - not a sty - but similar. Anyways, I survived and am feeling a lot better than I have - then we went to the Dragon King for a Chinese buffet for lunch, then to Walmart for a few groceries (Did you know that groceries is listed as the special gift for the 44th - that's a hoot, isn't it?). Well, lastly we've come home and it's nap time. 44 years gets a little tiring keeping up with! HA!

You totally stole Jim-Dad's thunder...he just told me on the phone that he was going to do this, and then you went and did it!

You are so the good child.

Oh. And Happy Anniversary!!

Mich,

Yes they are cute, and so are you and Kevin. I meant to mention that when I saw your photo on you anniversary post. Godly parents are a treasure.

Thanks for your comments on my blog, and sorry it sometimes takes me so long to get back to say “Hello”.
