He's BACK!!!

The last few weeks have been crazy at our house. I have seriously met myself coming and going. Between baseball games, dance recitals, church activities and work I have not had time to catch up on my housework. I'd truly be mortified right now if anyone had shown up at my house the past few days. It is bad...

One of the reasons it gets bad is due to my laundry. My washer and dryer are in the hallway. There is not a good way to organize the dirty laundry. The color piles end up in the hall which eventually leads to a big mess or "mountain of laundry" as my sister likes to put it. I'm working on a solution for my hall (love to hear your ideas), but in the meantime I have trouble keeping the hallway nice and clear.

This past Saturday was my first "free" day in a long time, yet even then I needed to do the mommy thing and spend some time with my girl. I did wash two loads before I left, though.

So, here I am. I woke up this morning totally frustrated because another weekend had come and gone and I still hadn't conquered the mountain. I'm reminded of my failure every time I walk down the hall. It sets the mood every morning and truly makes me weary just looking at it in the evenings.

However, when I came home this afternoon my "super hero" had once again come to my rescue. He has been a little busy lately which I've understood, but I am excited to say he is BACK! Have I told you guys lately how much I love my husband. You can read more about my superhero here.

Anyway, as I was saying, I came home today and there was my husband with every hamper and laundry bag full of CLEAN clothes. He had taken everything down to the laundromat and had cleaned my hallway! I will say it again...I love this guy!

Some girls need roses and diamonds (don't get me wrong I like those things too!) but the way to this girl's heart is spending time doing the one thing she hates, for her. Gotta love him!

That is SO completely sweet! What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man!

My laundry is in the basement. Where I can easily forget it....for days and days... until my son needs his basketball shirt and my husband needs a white t-shirt and blah blah blah.....

Sis,
Super heroes are still among us!!! YEA!!! Kev, you have inspired me. I'm gonna start on some of those listy things MOM has been writing down. The mechanics and tech needed to operate the laundry eaters still eludes me, but then MOM's the super heroine there, anyway, and I don't want her thinkin she's not needed anymore.
Love you all,
Dad

What?! He went to the laundromat? Of his own freewill? What? Give that boy a cookie...or a Nilla wafer...which ever.

Does he have a brother?

Oh...scratch that. I'm happily married. But still...maybe his brother could be hired...

Oh...I stay home. I actually don't mind putting the wash in the machine. It's the taking it out before it's mildewy and putting it into the dryer that's hard. Equally hard is getting it out of the dryer before wrinkles have cemented themselves into place.

Hm...
